I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I think he and I were the only two remaining living students of Vienna High Class of 1944. I had the opportunity to visit with him about 6 months ago and we had a great time re-telling old stories of our lives over the past 73 years. He was 3 months older than I am and we were lifetime friends. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a terrible tragedy to suffer. Your loved one lived what many consider to be a long life. However, to God, it was not long enough. God purposed for humans to live forever, so no one would have to experience the grief that death brings (Romans 6:23). God will act soon to put an end to the last enemy, death (1 Corinthians 15:26).
