Perry Lee "Pete" Fountain, Sr., age 83, of 3491 Pinehurst-Byromville Road, Pinehurst, entered into the house of the Lord on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, under the care of his wife, Myrtle and his step-daughter, Lisa and with the wonderful help of Hospice Care Options of Warner Robins.
Born in Byromville, he the eldest child of the late Z. T. Fountain and Gladys Phillips Fountain. He grew up in Dooly County and later served his country for 14 years in the military. Pete was a member of Byromville Baptist Church and the FBIC Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Ruth Hall Fountain; his granddaughter, Cassie Marie Parker; his brother, Horace Fountain; his sisters, Betty Brannen and Carol Summerville.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 10 in Vienna City Cemetery. Rev. Reed Benson and Rev. Jimmy Gauthier will officiate.
Mr. Fountain will lie in state 9 am - 6 pm Thursday, September 9 at the funeral home.
