Maidie D. Harvard, age 95, of 305 Church Street, Vienna, died Saturday, March 20, 2021, at her residence.
Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Hoyt Davis and Louise Hargrove Davis. She attended Wesleyan College and graduated from the University of North Carolina. Later, she earned her Master's from Georgia Southwestern College. For over 20 years, she taught English and Speech at Vienna High School. She was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church and the widow of William V. Harvard.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 23 in Vienna City Cemetery. Rev. Brian Leverett will officiate. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear a mask and socially distance. For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed on the funeral home Facebook page.
