Linton Brannen, age 79, of 79 Five Points Road, Unadilla, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at his residence.
Linton was born in Unadilla and was of nine children of the late John D. "Bud" Brannen and Lucy Ransom Brannen. He served his country with honor in the United States Army and retired from Cemex. He loved animals, tinkering and gardening but his greatest love was his family. Linton was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Tracy Welch (Garry) of Pinehurst
Grandchildren: Joshua Sapp, Matthew Sapp and Logan Morgan (Will)
Great Grandchildren: Bailey Carter, Nash Carter and Kason Morgan
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Brannen, J. E. Brannen, Carolyn Carr, Paul Brannen, Lamar Brannen, Marvin Brannen and Kenneth Brannen. His last sibling, Dora Huff passed away a few minutes after him.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday, December 11 in Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Mark White officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6- 8 pm Friday, December 10 at the funeral home.
