Karen "Nanny" Meads, age 68, of 700 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Perry, died Friday, February 21, 2020, at her residence.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert Robinette and Billie Riffe Robinette. Karen loved the color purple and will be fondly remembered for that. In fact, her whole house is decorated in purple. She loved her family, jewelry and her beloved dog, Baby. Karen was a beloved wife, mother and nanny.

Brother: Robert Robinette of Lizella

Great Grandchildren: Madison Starley, Kaylee Griffith, Carlee Griffith, Bristan Nocera and Cala Nocera
Great Aunt: Dorothy Thompson (Rick)
Nieces/Nephews: Tori & Randy Bowen, Dewayne & Jennifer Scarborough, Adam & Jenny Mott, Hannah Bowen, Taylor Bowen, Ben Bowen, Keri & Amber Scarborough, Ken Kimsey, Rebecca Frederick, Kalynne Johnson and Amanda Johnson
She is also survived by her best friend, her little dog, Baby.
Her sister, Kathy Mott Crass, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Sunday, February 23 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 4 - 6 PM Saturday, February 22 at the funeral home.
