Judy K. (Knight) Bernecker

Judy K. Bernecker, age 73, of 210 Loraine Avenue, Americus, died Friday, December 3, 2021, at Cordele Health & Rehab.  

Born in Highland Park, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William Winfred Knight and Willodene Whitehead Knight.  She was a homemaker and was loved by her family.  Mrs. Bernecker was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include:
Husband:  Dan Bernecker of Americus

Daughter:  Dawn Simmons (Dan) of Vienna

Sons:
Dan Bernecker, II (Rachel) of Canton, MI
David Bernecker (Rhonda) of Cordele

Brother:  Bill Knight (Sue) of Rockwood, MI

Grandchildren:  Holly Peak (Robbie), Shawn Sutton, Danielle Simmons, Shelby Simmons, Danny Bernecker, Logan Bernecker, Alex Powers, Kristen Cain (David), Brianna Sharp, Shaina Stillwell and Tripp Stillwell

Great Grandchildren:  Grayson Peak, Kayson Darsey and Bentley Cain

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 6 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna with interment in Pinehurst City Cemetery.  Rev. Brian Leverett will officiate.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
