Jimmy Summerville, age 70, of 251 Oakland Cemetery Road, Byromville, died Monday, December 5, 2022, at his residence following a private, year-long battle with cancer.
Born in Byromville, he was the son of the late Robert Summerville and Eloise Hannah Summerville. Jimmy was a hard-working man who truly loved his family. He was devoted to his wife of 45 years, the late Carol Fountain Summerville, his children and his grandchildren. He had worked for Tyson for nearly 20 years, owned and operated Jimmy's Repair Shop for many years and retired from Minerva Plantation in Perry where he was a truck driver. Jimmy was also a Master Mason and a longtime volunteer fireman.

No services will be held but the family will greet friends 4 - 7 pm Wednesday, December 7 at the funeral home.
