H. Carlton Farmer, age 85, of 129 Drayton Lane, Vienna, died Friday, October 2, 2020, at his residence.
Born in Cordele, he was the son of the late Harles Hugh Farmer and Jazee West Farmer. He was a US Army veteran and was a salesman for Georgia Pacific Pump Company for 25 years and worked for the USDA for 11 years. Carlton served as a volunteer fireman for 25 years. He was also very active in the Boy Scouts and served as scoutmaster. A member of Bethel Baptist Church, he served as a Deacon, taught Sunday School and led the Royal Ambassadors.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Monday, October 5 at Arabi Cemetery. Everyone should assemble at the funeral home at 1 PM to join the procession to the cemetery.
The family will have a drive-thru visitation 3 - 5 PM Sunday, October 4 at the funeral home, 1411 East Union Street, Vienna. Due to COVID-19, please remain in your vehicle. You will be able to register, receive a memorial folder and speak to the family.
