Gene Causey, age 82, of 1056 Blazing Pine Drive, Unadilla, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at his residence.
Born in Ocoee, Florida, he was the son of the late Fred Causey and Roberta Jones Causey. Gene worked as a farmer for many years and was an extremely hard worker. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.
Survivors include:
Wife of 59 years: Lou Ellen Causey of Unadilla
Daughters:
Sheila Miles (Ben) of Hawkinsville
Teresa Bell (Lee) of Unadilla
Sons:
Stoney Causey of Unadilla
Rex Causey of Unadilla
Roy Causey of Unadilla
Sisters:
Barbara Slaughter of Fort Lauderdale, FL
Jan Peavy (Buddy) of Macon
Grandchildren: 9
Great Grandchildren: 1
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Gina "Gina-Bug" Causey.
No services will be held.
