Frances K. (Kennedy) Spradley

Frances K. Spradley, age 94, of Pinehurst, died Sunday, August 4, 2019, at High Cotton Home in Vienna.

Born in Unadilla, she was the daughter of the late Roy Dewitt Kennedy and Pauline Staples Kennedy.  She graduated from Andrew College where she played tennis and basketball and also earned the Most Athletic Award.  Mrs. Spradley was a teacher at Unadilla High School and also coached basketball.  She was a faithful member of Harmony Baptist Church, taught Sunday School and was a member of the WMU.  She also enjoyed watching her two favorite teams, the Atlanta Braves and the Boston Celtics.

Survivors include:
Daughter:  Mary Catherine Moore (Jim) of Battle Ground, WA

Grandson:  Ian Moore of San Diego, CA

Nephews:  David Kennedy, Ronnie Kennedy, Jeff Kennedy and Jay Kennedy

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years, Ossie T. Spradley, Jr. on June 18, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 6 in Harmony Baptist Church.  Rev. Joe Daniel will officiate and interment will be at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
