Danny Meads Obituary

Danny Meads, age 65, of 700 MLK, Jr. Boulevard, Perry, died Monday, December 7, 2020, at his residence.

Born in Montezuma, he was the son of the late William Meads and Mary Kimsey.  Danny retired from Myers Construction after over 30 years of service.  He loved the Three Stooges, old western movies and horses.  Above all, Danny was a loving father, grandfather and brother who was devoted to his family.

Survivors include:
Daughter:  Danielle Meads Evans of Orrington, ME

Step-daughter:  Lisa Meads of Unadilla

Brothers:
Ronnie Meads (Debbie) of Sparta
Tony Meads (Lisa) of Unadilla
Ken Kimsey (Vickie) of Perry

Grandchildren:  Ashley Ames, Zachary Mischel, Billy Starley, Brandi Griffith and Kasie Schafer

Great Grandchildren:  Madison Starley, Mallory Ames, Kenzie Ames, Kaylee Griffith and Carlee Griffith

Several nieces and a nephew also survive.

He is also survived by his best friend and companion, his dog, Baby.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Robinette Meads; his brothers, James Meads and Ricky Scott and his uncle, Donald Kimsey.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 10 in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, Texas 75284-0692.
