Calvin Altman Obituary

Calvin Altman, age 69, of 3222 Carl Sutton Road, Lizella, died Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.

Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Roy Altman and Lois Davison Altman.  Calvin was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He was an amazing musician, carpenter and comedian who was a sweet soul.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

Survivors include:
Wife of 41 years: Stephanie Altman of Lizella

Matthew Altman of Tennessee
Jesse Altman (Nicole) of Macon
Melissa Fitzgerald (Chris) of Macon

Johnnie Brannen of Blythe
Kathy Darsey of Elko

Lamar Altman of Unadilla
Bobby Altman of Unadilla

Grandchildren:  Luke, Michael, Lydia, Kennedy, Isaac and Sadie

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, R. L., Ray Gene, Irene and Jessie Mae.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Saturday, March 4 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 1:30 - 3 PM Saturday, March 4 at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts may be made to Brightmoor Hospice, 3247 Newnan Road, Griffin, Georgia 30223.
