Armond Lamar Baggs, III

Armond Lamar Baggs, III, age 66, of 2237 Lee Street, Augusta, died Friday, September 3, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Montezuma, he was the son of the late Lamar Baggs, Jr. and Myrtle Hall Baggs.  Lamar joined the United States Navy as a young man and showed great aptitude in math and science. He continued to amaze his family with working complicated math equations in his mind and on paper. 

He enjoyed spending summers with his siblings, cousins, friends and grandparents on the family farm in Vienna playing, riding bikes and swimming and sometimes getting in a bit of trouble with cousins playing in the hay loft.

Lamar loved all of his family dearly and will be missed by all, especially his beloved little sister.

Survivors include his brother, James H. Baggs (Tracy); his sister, Regina Baggs; his nephew, Justin Baggs.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 8 in the Templeton-Baggs Cemetery.
