Yvonne S. (Sticher) Smith

Yvonne S. Smith, age 88, of 306 South Sixth Street, Vienna, died Sunday, May 25, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Barnesville, she was the daughter of the late Homer Sticher and Ruth Headden Sticher Bailey and a homemaker.  Yvonne truly had a servant's heart.  She would help anybody and in any way she could.  She was a faithful member of Vienna First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, worked in the nursery and with VBS and was part of the church sewing group.

Survivors include: Daughters: Elaine Phillips (Tommy) of Vienna Donna Kowalczyk (Bob) of Acworth

Grandchildren: Ashley Kowalczyk (Shanda) Alex Kowalczyk (Marly) Allen Kowalczyk Matthew Phillips (Chelsea) Mallory Morrow (Matt)

Great Grandchildren:  C. J., Jacob, Avery, Millie, Blakely, Jolie, Clayton and Collin

Niece:  Cristy Caldwell (Bill)

Nephews: Tommy Torbert (Margaret) Johnny Torbert

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kevin Clayton Phillips and her loving husband of 61 years, Willis W. Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 28 in Vienna First Baptist Church.  The interment will be private for family only in Vienna City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in Providence Hall of Vienna First Baptist Church.
