Graveside services for Willis M. Ashley will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 24 in Pinehurst City Cemetery. Mr. Ashley, age 85, died Sunday, August 22, 2004, at his residence.
Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Henry W. Ashley and Ethel Green Ashley. He was a US Army veteran of WWII, a member of First Baptist Church of Dublin and retired from the Georgia Department of Agriculture as an Entomologist.

Wife: Bobbie Ashley of Pinehurst
Daughter: Susan Smith (Wayne) of Pinehurst
Grandchildren: Joshua Smith & Mary Beth Smith
Great Grandchild: Brendan Smith
