William Wofford Sinyard, Jr., age 77, of 290 Klondike Road, Hawkinsville, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry.
Born in Jamestown, Alabama, he was the son of the late William W. Sinyard and Mabel Lucille Maner Sinyard. He was a 1959 graduate of Perry High School and had worked as a printer for the Houston Home Journal. He was also employed by the Houston County Board of Education for 30 years and was the owner of Sinyard's, Inc for 20 years. Mr. Sinyard was a member of Elko Baptist Church, the Perry Exchange Club and served as president of the Perry Horseshoe Pitching Club. He also enjoyed marble shooting.

He was preceded in death by a son, William W. Sinyard, III and his siblings, James Hoyt Sinyard, James Hershell Sinyard, Agnes Jackson, Friendale Jones, Edith Simmons, Ruby Frederick and Jimmie Faye Morgan.
Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 17 in Elko Baptist Church with interment following in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry.
The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Friday, December 16 at the funeral home.
