William Bruce Poole, Jr.

William Bruce "Bill" Poole, Jr., age 75, of Holly Pond, Alabama, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, Alabama.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late William Bruce Poole and Betty Cooper Poole and retired from the Southern Company.  Bill loved hunting and fishing and also loved animals.  At the time of his death, he had two dogs, Ethel and Snowball, and two cats, Charlie and Monster.

Survivors include: Son:  William Bruce Poole, III of Holly Pond, AL

Sister:  Brenda Poole of Snellville

Brother:  Jeff Poole of Arabi

Granddaughter:  Jessica T. Stacey-Spain of Leeds, AL

His daughter, Amanda Lynne Poole, preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held at 12 PM Monday, May 6 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.

Since Bill loved supporting veterans causes, family requests memorial gifts be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
