Wayne Mason

Wayne Mason, age 70, of 1283 Tremont Road, Cordele, died Saturday, December 12, 2015, at The Medical Center-Navicent Health in Macon.

Born in Pinehurst, he was the son of the late Rastus "Jabo" Mason and Callie Lucile Singletary Mason. Wayne was a United States Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Baptist and worked as a carpenter.

Brother: James Mason of Arab, AL

Kaye Pogue of Elko
Gaye Gilliam of Cordele
Patsy Holder of Cordele

Grandchildren:
Emily Mason of Centerville
Anna Young of Cordele
Hunter Hayslip of Cordele

He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Christmas and a brother, Cecil Mason.

Funeral services will be at 12 PM Tuesday, December 15 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla. Interment with military honors will follow in Walnut Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 10 AM - 12 PM Tuesday, December 15 at the funeral home.
