Wayne Leatherwood

Wayne Leatherwood, age 80, of 1814 Kings Chapel Road, Perry, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Heart of Georgia Hospice-Inpatient Care in Perry.

Born in Jasper, Alabama, he was the son of the late Hardy Leatherwood and Mabel Bloodworth Leatherwood. He was a devoted husband of 25 years to his wife, Mary Fay Leatherwood. Mr. Leatherwood was a member of Living Faith Church in Perry.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, July 17 in Living Faith Church in Perry with interment in Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, July 16 at the funeral home.

Wayne was blessed to be surrounded by many wonderful friends.
