Wayne Cason, age 63, of 509 Old Americus Road, Vienna, died Thursday, July 14, 2011, at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin.
Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Bobby Eugene Cason and Lois Potts Cason. He was a 1965 graduate of Vienna High School and served his country with honor in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Wayne served as Clerk of Superior Court for Dooly County for 12 years. He was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville and coached little league for many years.

Grandchildren: Mitch Wall, Graison Wall, Emily Morgan, Kendall Cason, Juliette Cason and Matthew Henry Cason
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, July 17 at Vienna First Baptist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 4 - 6 PM Saturday, July 16 at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Boulevard, Dublin, Georgia 31021.
