Wanda (Bivins) Mattox

Wanda Mattox, age 65, of 1402 Tucker Road, Perry, died Friday, January 22, 2021, at Perry Hospital.

Born in Hawkinsville, she was the daughter of the late John Lee Bivins and Lillie Ruth Brannen Bivins.  Wanda was a faithful member of County Line Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching during Vacation Bible School.  She also enjoyed home schooling especially her grandchild.  Wanda also enjoyed camping.

Survivors include: Husband of 44 years:  Ricky Mattox of Perry

Sons: Rick Mattox of Perry Chris Mattox (Samantha) of Perry

Sisters: Lynn Sinyard (Mitchell) of Hawkinsville Dolly Ann Sinyard of Hawkinsvile Ruth Loggins of Elko Jeanice Shelton (Larry) of Perry

Grandchild:  Nora Mattox of Perry

She is also survived by her puppy, Toby.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Geraldine Sinyard, Marie Gray and Clayton Bivins.

Due to COVID-19, a private graveside service for family only will be held at 3 PM Monday, January 25 at County Line Cemetery.
