Wallace Godfrey, age 89, of 9180 Highway 41, Pinehurst, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry.
Born in Cordele, he was the son of the late Elmer Godfrey and Montene Wallace Godfrey. He served in the United States Army, was a member of Vienna Church of God and retired from Causey Service Station where he was an attendant for many years. Mr. Godfrey loved watching NASCAR, supporting the Atlanta Braves and working in his yard. He was also a member of the American Legion.

Wallace was looking forward to the birth of his first great great grandchild, Mylah Jade Spivey.
He is also survived by his dogs, Missie, Rex and Coco and his cat, BB.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, August 25 in Vienna Church of God. Interment with military honors will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
