Voncile M. Ward, age 80 of 700 Ashton Place in Ashburn, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at her residence.
Born in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Emory Mathews and Caroline Perry Mathews. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Turner County, a seamstress, a homemaker and the widow of Clifford Ward.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, May 8 in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Turner County.
