Virgilene L. (Moore) Saunders

Virgilene L. Saunders, age 78, of 744 Fitzpatrick Place, Vienna, died Friday, August 25, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Lakeview, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Ira Larry Moore and Nina Meeker Moore.  She was a homemaker but had also worked at a mental health facility and as a cashier at several gas stations.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla.

Survivors include: Husband:  Charles E. Saunders of Unadilla

Daughters: Lucy Root of Clare, MI Roxie  Ann Miller of Texas Renece Root of Breckenridge, MI Debbie Farrar of St. Louis, MI

Brother:  Larry Moore of Florida

Grandchildren:  11 Great Grandchildren:  16

Her daughter, Deann Root, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM Wednesday, September 6 at First Baptist Church of Unadilla.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna has charge of arrangements.
