Virgil D. Hudson

Virgil D. "Doc" Hudson, Sr., age 83, of 529 Old Americus Road, Vienna, died Friday, January 3, 2014, at his residence.

Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Jerry Hudson and Bessie Mae Allen Hudson and a US Army veteran. He was a carpenter and the owner of Hudson Construction Company. Doc loved deer hunting, snow skiing and grilling. His first wife, Ellen Andrews Hudson, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Monday, January 6 in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church near Vienna with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Sunday, January 5 at the funeral home.
