Vera A. Cason, age 85, of 4510 Tippettville Road, Vienna, died Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late William Leonard Arnold and Mary Wilson Arnold. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and worked as a Cloth Cutter at Lanier Clothing. Mrs. Cason also served as a caregiver for various people.

Daughters: Joyce Cummings (Verlin) of Hawkinsville
Deborah Haygood (Harold) of Vienna
Janis Pennington (Lex) of Vienna
Sisters: Audrey Ransom of Unadilla
Wynelle Bockman of Gretna, NE
Brother: Thomas P. Arnold of Carrollton
Grandchildren: 7
Great Grandchildren: 11
Great Great Grandchildren: 3
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Ann Bray.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Tuesday, October 27 in Shiloh United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 pm Monday, October 26 at the funeral home.
