Van A. Vaughan, Sr

Van A. Vaughan, Sr., age 84, of 20820 Highway 27 West, Vienna, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus.
Born in Sumter County, he was the son of the late James Nunally Vaughan and Ferol Adams Vaughan. He was a devoted member of Drayton Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Vaughan was a retired farmer and owner of F & V Trucking Company. He had also served on the board of directors of the Dooly County Farm Bureau.

Funeral services will be at 3 PM Saturday, January 25 in Drayton Baptist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Friday, January 24 at the funeral home.
