Thomas J. Watson

Thomas J. Watson, age 99, of Vienna, died Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Born in Wilcox County, he was the son of the late Freeman and Lula Watson. He was a retired farmer and the oldest member of Tippettville Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Norma Jean Watson (the late Charles) of Macon
Maggie Lou Peek (Charles) of Macon
Sons: Tommy Watson, Jr. (Sue) of Vienna
Harold Haygood (Deborah) of Vienna
Grandchildren: 7
Great Grandchildren: 8
Great Great Grandchildren: 1
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie D. Watson and two sons, Wendell Watson and Ronnie Haygood.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, September 15 in Tippettville Baptist Church with interment in Tippettville Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 7 - 9 PM Monday, September 14 at the funeral home.
