Thomas L. "Tommy" Swain, age 85, of 651 Oak Avenue, Pinehurst, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at his residence.
Born in Pinehurst, he was the son of the late William Arthur Swain and Helen Joiner Swain. He retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas L. Swain, Jr., his sister, Blanche Stephens and his brother, Lev Roberts.
Survivors include:
Wife: Dorothy Gail Swain of Pinehurst
Daughter: Tammy Stephens (Randy) of Warner Robins
Son: Marcus Swain of Pinehurst
Step-Daughter: Amy Crozier (Jamie) of Byromville
Grandchildren: Nicholas Stout, Brittany Gap (Garrett) and Isaac Crozier
Graveside services will be at 2 PM Thursday, November 9 in Pinehurst City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Wednesday, November 8 at the funeral home.
