Thomas H. Sims, II, age 65, of 1087 Templeton Road, Vienna, died Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his residence. Georgia at the age of 65.
Tommy was born on March 25, 1951 in Tampa, FL. He graduated from King High School in 1969. He was an operating engineer and worked at the family business until his retirement in 1998. He owned and operated a cattle ranch for the last 20 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Tommy will be loved and missed by many.
Tommy is survived by his three children, Ashley, Kristin and Thomas; brother, Dean Sims; nieces and nephews, Erika, Dean, Danielle, Jackson and Emmalee; great niece and nephew, Zoey and Noah. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Sims, Sr; mother, Nedine Sims; sister, Lovie Suzanne Sims.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Friday, May 20 at Linden Cemetery in Linden, Florida.
The family will greet friends 4 - 5 PM Thursday, May 19 at Swilley Funeral Home in Tampa, Florida.
Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna and Swilley Funeral Home, 1602 W. Waters Ave, Tampa, Florida have charge of arrangements.
