Thomas J. Green, age 82, of Vienna, died Tuesday, May 25 at his residence.
Born in Lee County, he was the son of the late Ned Walker Green and Ruby Harris Green. He was a US Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He was a POW who survived the Bataan Death March. Following his military service, he worked as a Supervisor at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany and was a farmer. Mr. Green was a member of Vienna United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Vienna Lions Club and a member and Past-President of the 27th Bomb Group.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 28 in Vienna United Methodist Church. Rev. Shane Green will officiate and burial will be held at 2:30 PM in Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, May 27 at the funeral home.
