Thelma H. Borum

Thelma H. Borum, age 83, of 690 Borum Street, Unadilla, died Sunday, January 30, 2011, at her residence.
Born in Butts County, she was the daughter of the late John W. Hamlin and Bessie Asbell Hamlin. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church where she served as treasurer for many years. Mrs. Borum retired from Unadilla Manufacturing and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Emmitt Borum of Unadilla; her sons, Mike Borum of Unadilla and Ronnie Borum (Teresa) of Newton, NC; her sister, Opal Menefee of Louisville, KY; her brother, Rev. Olin Hamlin (Mary) of Tifton; her grandchildren, Michelle Cook (Brad) of Macon, Michael Borum (Erin) of Knoxville, TN and Taylor Borum of Newton, NC; her great grandchild, Carter Cook of Macon.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, February 1 in County Line Baptist Church. Interment will be at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Monday, January 31 at the funeral home.
