Sylvia H. Mason, age 57, of 572 Third Street, Unadilla, died Monday, July 25, 2011, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.
Born in Cordele, she was the daughter of the late William Jackson Head, Jr. and Laura Mae Ransom Head. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla and had worked as a bookkeeper at Security Bank in Perry. Her son, Jeremy Cameron Mason, preceded her in death.

Daughter: Jennifer Mason (Brian Hollingsworth) of Rochelle
Brothers:
Jackie Head (Jim Sandel) of Marietta
Tony Head (Gina) of McDonough
Nephew: Wesley Head of McDonough
Graveside services will be at 3 PM Thursday, July 28 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends 5 - 7 PM Wednesday, July 27 at the funeral home.
