Susie G. Parker, age 95, of Unadilla, died Monday, November 19, 2007, in a Perry nursing home.
Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Tom Goins and Lola Ingram Goins. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and the widow of Tom Parker. Mrs. Parker was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking and devoted her life to her family.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Lorene Sanders (Wendell) of Cordele
Barbara Francis of Perry
Wanda Goodroe (Wallace) of Henderson
Sons: Carl Parker of Perry
Herman Parker (Shirley) of Marshallville
Billy Joe Parker of Unadilla
She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four children, Clyde Parker, Ruth Peavy, Myrtle Peavy and Robert Parker.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 21 at Walnut Cemetery in Unadilla.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday, November 20 at the funeral home.
