Susan T. (Tharpe) Wise

Susan T. Wise, age 61, of 209 Church Street, Vienna, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at her residence.
Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Erastus Tharpe and Pauline Ratterree Tharpe. She was a member of Lilly Baptist Church and had worked at Crisp Regional Hospital for many years and later at Albany Area Primary Care in Vienna. Susan always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met and was always more concerned with other people's problems than her own.

Daughter: Nicole Hamsley of Vienna
Sisters:
Jeanette Parker of Byron
Wanda Coleman of Kathleen
Dana Herring of Vienna
Brother: James Tharpe of Unadilla
Brother-in-law: Robert Beavers of Lilly
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She is also survived by her beloved pets, Tula and Papa.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jana Beavers and her brother, Chuck Tharpe.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Friday, September 29 in Lilly Baptist Church with interment following in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, September 28 at the funeral home.
