Steven E. Jones, age 48, of 4363 Pine Street, Unadilla, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Vienna, he was the son of the late Linton Jones. He was a clerk at the Lions Den, a devoted father and grandfather and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Amber Jones of East Dublin
Son: Casey Lee Jones of Byron
Mother: Pat Cross of Unadilla
Sisters: Teresa Jones of Unadilla
Sandra E. Cantrell (Andrew) of Unadilla
Brother: David K. Jones (Rita) of Unadilla
Grandchild: Haleigh L. Jones of East Dublin
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 18 in Walnut Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Wood officiating.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, December 17 at the funeral home.
