Steve D. Hayes, age 59, of Hawkinsville, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Taylor Regional Hospital.
Born in Carroll County, he was the son of the late James O. Hayes and Norene May Hayes. He was a Farmer and a member of First Baptist Church of Hawkinsville.
Survivors include:
Brothers: Jerry O. Hayes of Hendersonville, NC
Randy J. Hayes of Asheville, NC
Sisters: Betty Sue Hayes of Newnan
Mary Ann McDowell of Elko
Janice L. Parsley of Smyrna, TN
His brothers, James Jr. Hayes and Roy Lee Hayes, preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 3 in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6- 8 PM Tuesday, June 2 at the funeral home.
