Shirley P. Sangster

Shirley P. Sangster, age 67, of Unadilla, died Sunday, September 12, 2010, at her residence.

Born in Madison County, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Poppell and Ila Hancock Poppell. Mrs. Sangster loved working with young people through her job with the Crisp County Extension Office and had formerly worked for the Grady County Extension Office. She had also worked at Whigham Elementary School. Mrs. Sangster attended Double Branch Free Will Baptist Church and was a wonderful, loving mother.

Husband: Jack Sangster of Unadilla

Daughter: Lynn M. Stavely (Kenny) of Bainbridge

Sons: Randy Devane (Lyn) of Whigham
Emory Moore (Tika) of Whigham

Sister: Eloise Perkins of Whigham

Brother: Gene Poppell of Whigham

Grandchildren: 7

Great Grandchildren: 2

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, September 16 in Harmony Baptist Church with interment in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
