Sherrie L. Butler

Sherrie L. Butler, age 58, of 140 Highway 128 Bypass, Oglethorpe, died Monday, February 2, 2026, at her residence.

Born in Americus, she was the daughter of the late Willard Richards and Roberta White Richards.  Sherrie was the former owner of Sherrie's Cuts n Curls in Unadilla.  She had a big heart and would go out of her way to help anybody.  Sherrie was a member of Unadilla Methodist Church.

Husband:  Richard Butler of Oglethorpe

Daughter:  Brittnea Holland of Tyler, TX

Step-Children:  
Holly Watson of Willacoochee
Hannah Dube of Willacoochee

Sister:  Dawn Turner of Andersonville

Brothers:
Victor Richards of Chattanooga, TN
Gene Richards of Cordele

Step-Grandchildren:  Chloe Dube, Naomi Watson and Maverick Dube

Mother-in-law:  Shirley Holland of Oglethorpe 

A memorial service will be held later.

Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Unadilla has charge of arrangements.
