Sarah G. Saliba, age 93, of Byromville, died Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Cordele Health & Rehab in Cordele.
Born in Byromville, she was the daughter of the late Walter R. Groves and Sallie Mobley Groves. She graduated from Shorter College and taught school for over 20 years in Macon County, Pinehurst and Byromville. She was honored as teacher of the year during her time in the Macon County schools. Mrs. Saliba was a member of Byromville Baptist Church, the Montezuma Garden Club, the Montezuma Music Club and was an avid traveler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert A. Saliba.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, August 9 in Byromville Baptist Church with interment in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Monday, August 8 at the funeral home.
