Sarah Peavy, age 96, of 955 Old Americus Road, Vienna, died Monday, September 11, 2006, at her residence.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late James U. Porter and Annie Murray Porter. She was a homemaker, a member of Liberty Baptist Church and the widow of E. B. Peavy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 13 in Liberty Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Wilbanks and Rev. Travis Graham will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Wayne and Beverly Peavy, 725 Old Americus Road, Vienna.
