Sarah B. Butler

Sarah B. Butler, of 726 Mulberry Street, Unadilla, died Friday, January 16, 2009, at Tallassee Health Care Center in Tallassee, Alabama.
Born in Newnan, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Marion Beavers and Mamie Lou Wiggens Beavers. She was a longtime faithful member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and retired from the US Postal Service.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Butler Rabun of Birmingham, AL; a sister, Hattie Conner of Unadilla; a brother, Bill Beavers of Bradenton, FL and a grandson, Lee Greer of Tallassee, AL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H. W. "Pop" Butler; siblings, Merle Beavers, Ray Beavers, Mary Beavers Craiglow and Mattie Sue Beavers Allen; granddaughter, Lisa Butler Greer.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, January 20 in Unadilla United Methodist Church with interment in Walnut Cemetery.
Visitation will be 12:30 – 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 20 in the E. H. Conner Fellowship Hall of Unadilla United Methodist Church.
