Sandra Joyce Peavy Jackson, age 45, of 1501 Weeks Road, Vienna, died Thursday, January 15, 2004, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
Born in Perry, she was a very spiritual person and was a devoted mother. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for 20 years.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Amanda Senn (Garret) of Vienna
Parents: Calvin and Caralee Peavy of Unadilla
Brothers: Dwain Peavy of Cordele
Larry Brown of Kathleen
Merrell Peavy of Franklin, NC
Calvin E. Peavy, Jr. of Perry

Jason Peavy of Unadilla
Sisters: Barbara Rainey of Perry

Debra Warren of Cordele
Diane Daniels of Vienna
Grandchild: Jeremy Senn of Vienna
Her brother, Kenneth Brown, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 17 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home of Vienna. Rev. Melvin Slappey will officiate and burial will follow in Harmony-Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, January 16 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, c/o Laura Woodward, 505 Old Americus Road, Vienna, GA 31092.
