Sandra L. Dickerson

Sandra L. Dickerson, age 82, of Albany, died Monday, June 8, 2026, at Wynfield Park Health & Rehab in Albany.

Born in Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow "Red" Lee and Mary Carr Lee.  She graduated from Vienna High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in 1991.  After college, she became an educator for the Georgia Department of Corrections.  Sandra was a member of Vienna Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, flowers and watching Jeopardy.

Kristi Daughtry (Dale) of Albany

Philip Lee of Vienna
David Lee (Melanie) of Vienna

Sister-in-law:  Donna Lee of Americus

Grandchildren: Tiffany Dismuke (Andrew), Jay Woody, Allison Rowland (Paul), Anna Gray (Blake), Brittany Davidson (Trent) and Bradley Daughtry

Great Grandchildren:  15

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Lee and her granddaughters, Ashley Lewis and Kimberly Chambless.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, June 11 in Vienna City Cemetery.
