Sally (Saliba) Averill

Sally S. Averill, age 81, of 475 Main Street, Byromville, died Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Born in Byromville, she was the daughter of the late Hebert A. Saliba and Sarah Groves Saliba.  Mrs. Averill was a homemaker and a faithful member of Byromville Baptist Church, the Seasoned Saints and the FBIC Sunday School Class.  She was also a member of the Byromville Woman's Club, the UDC and the DAR.  Her husband, John A. "Monta" Averill, Sr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include: Son:  John M. Averill, Jr. of Byromville

Daughter:  Julianna Averill Brannen of Byromville

Sister:  Grace Akin of Vienna

Grandchildren: John M. Averill, III (Jenn) of Byromville Jared Averill (Lea) of Byromville Clinton B. Brannen, IV (Rachel) of Sharpsburg Sarah-Averill Brannen of Byromville

Great Grandchildren:  7

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, August 30 in Byromville Baptist Church with interment in Hephzibah Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6- 8 PM Monday, August 29 at the funeral home.
