Sallie A. Calhoun

Sallie A. Calhoun, age 88, of 196 Sweet Gum Road, Vienna, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at her residence.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Patrick Ayers and Beulah Hames Ayers. She was a member of Drayton Baptist Church, the Vienna Woman's Club and TOPS. Mrs. Calhoun retired from Robins Air Force Base and was the widow of Walter Marvin Calhoun.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Calhoun (Tammy) of Vienna.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 17 in Drayton Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Vienna City Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday, April 16 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Drayton Baptist Church, c/o Wanaza Lamb, 2515 River Road, Vienna, GA 31092.
