Sadie W. Broadaway

Sadie W. Broadaway, age 87, of Unadilla, died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late T. C. Williams and Lou Ida McIntyre Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and worked with the GA's.

Survivors include:
Sons: Edwin E. "Gene" Broadaway (Betty) of Tifton
Marcus Broadaway (Ellen) of Warwick

Daughters: Linda Davis of Pinehurst
Edwina Reed (Ronald) of Pinehurst

Sister: Eunice Fullington of Hawkinsville

Grandchildren: 8

Great Grandchildren: 15

Great Great Grandchildren: 1

Her husband, Marcus Edwin Broadaway, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday, March 3 in Liberty Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 – 8 PM Monday, March 2 at the funeral home.
