Ruth Hudson Sutton

Ruth Hudson Sutton, age 86, of Vienna, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.
Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the alte Edd Hudson and Stella Truluck Hudson. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Secretary for many years. She retired from Cordele Uniform, was a member of Woodmen of the World and was the widow of Luther Sutton.
Survivors include:
Sisters: Agnes H. Lawson (Sheryl) of Columbus
Mary H. Cobb (Charles M.) of Vienna
Brothers: Eugene Hudson (Carolene) of Vienna
Leland Hudson (Imogene) of Vienna
Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 10 in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Cobb and Rev. Buford Tanner will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 7 - 9 PM Thursday, June 9 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Eugene Hudson, 1405 Highway 41 South Vienna, GA 31092.
