Ruth D. (Dupree) Rodriguez

Ruth D. Rodriguez, age 90, of 575 Cypress Avenue, Pinehurst, died Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at The Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville.

Born in Pinehurst, she was the daughter of the late Gordie Dupree and Irene Davis Dupree.  She was a faithful member of Pinehurst Global Methodist Church.  Ruth lived a full and devoted life as a mother and Nana.  She had a love for taking care of others as she retired from Perry Hospital after 20 years of service.

Survivors include: Daughter:  Tammy Stout of Centerville

Son:  Mark Swain of Pinehurst

Grandchildren: Brittany Gapp (Garrett) of Germany Nick Stout of Warner Robins

Great Grandchildren: Brayson Gapp Asher Gapp Declan Gapp

In addition to her parents, she was preceded n death by her son, Len Swain.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 16 in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home.  Rev. Mike Bowden and Rev. Gary Fowler will officiate and interment will be in Pinehurst City Cemetery.

The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 PM Sunday, February 16.
