Ruth R. Burnette

Ruth R. Burnette, age 81, of Route 4 Box 11790, Hawkinsville, died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Born in Dooly County, she was the daughter of the late Luke Rucker and Ruby English Rucker. She was a member of Browndale Baptist Church, retired from Robins Air Force Base and the widow of Elmer B. Burnette.

Daughter: Beatrice B. Brannen (Kenneth) of Hawkinsville

Sisters: Edith Dixon of Hawkinsville
Myrle Rackley of Hawkinsville
Jean Ford of Centerville

Great Grandchildren: 7

Great Great Grandchildren: 1

Her son, Elmer B. Burnette, Jr., preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, March 8 in Browndale Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Saturday, March 7 at the funeral home.
